Dear Samsung Notes Team,
I’m writing to request a feature enhancement that would significantly improve the modularity and usability of Samsung Notes for professional users.
📌 Feature Request
Please consider adding support for internal hyperlinks within Samsung Notes—specifically the ability to link to:
• Local files (e.g., PDFs, spreadsheets, training logs)
• Images stored on the device
• Other Samsung Notes documents
• Folders or directories relevant to a project
This would allow users to reference and navigate between related resources without embedding or duplicating content, which is especially valuable for structured documentation workflows.
🧠 Use Case
I’m currently building modular nutrition and training dashboards tailored for South African users. These include categorized food lists, macro breakdowns, validation logic, and interactive planning tools. Internal linking would enable:
• Seamless navigation across related notes and reference files
• Audit-friendly documentation with traceable sources
• Reduced clutter and improved extensibility
🌍 Local Relevance
In South Africa, offline access and device-based workflows are common. Internal hyperlinking would empower professionals—especially in health, education, and technical fields—to build robust systems without relying on constant cloud connectivity.
Suggested Implementation
• “Insert Internal Link” option in the toolbar
• Custom display text for links (e.g., “View Macro Breakdown”)
• Clickable links that open the referenced item in its native app or viewer
• Optional: folder links, preview thumbnails, and broken link alerts
This feature would bring Samsung Notes closer to parity with apps like OneNote, Notion, and Obsidian, while reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to productivity and ecosystem integration.
Thank you for considering this request. I’d be happy to provide further context or participate in user testing if needed.
Warm regards,
Freddie

I think we have most of these features, otherwise, we can't be using Samsung Notes like it's Microsoft Word on PC.

I get what you're saying. But would it be like turning S Notes to Microsoft Word? I don't think this is about turning Samsung Notes into a document editor like Word. The key difference is that this feature is about linking notes together, not just writing a single long document. It's about building a system or a 'personal wiki' for better organization, which is a core feature of powerful note-taking apps like Notion

For people who need to manage complex projects, training logs, or research, the ability to link between related notes and files is essential. It lets them keep everything connected and easily accessible so I do get the idea of Mr Freddie
So, it's really about making the app a more powerful productivity hub for CERTAIN USERS and of course will then also accommodate others.
Do you guys think Samsung created or prefers a simple notes app on purpose? Or is there still more to come and make it a all-in-one tool
