A strange issue on my Galaxy note 10 plus exynos variant where certain media files of m4a format can not be heard properly through type c earphones. They are being played but the sound is very muffled and distorted. This can be corrected if I disconnect the earphones, play the file through speakers and then reconnect the earphones. But this workaround is only for time being; as the issue crops up again. Please note that this was not the issue on my Galaxy note 9 with the exact same media files. Please help. Thank you.

Hi,  I have 2 days with my Note 10+ with the exact same problem.

The m4a files plays correctly from the device speakers, but with a bluetooth device or the USB-c headphones, all the sound is distorted.

Sometimes the m4a files plays correctly, but the issue appears again when I select the next track.

The problem is only for m4a files, all mp3 plays correctly.

Please help!

I have tested with Bluetooth earphones as well as Bluetooth speakers. The m4a files plays normally. So the issue is only with wired earphones.
