Galaxy Note
Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger every year. The bigger the display is, the more content you can watch on the screen. The same applies to the app drawer of the device. By default the device is set to show 4 apps in a row and 5 apps in a column. Let's check how we can change this.
Default 4X5
5X6
On your home screen, tap on some empty space to open the home screen editor. Then tap on HOME SCREEN SETTINGS.
You will get 2 options, to set the size of Home Screen Grid size and the App Screen Grid size. You can choose a different grid size for each of them.
You can select any of the combinations available and my favorite one is 5X6 as it shows the maximum number of apps in one screen.
Once you select the size of your choice, Simply press the save button. You can follow the same procedure for your apps screen also.
Here is a comparison between the 4x5 and 5x6 settings.
You can also drag and drop apps icons to change the position of the app icon in both app drawer and home screen.
