Black screen of death - Galaxy Note 8

Hey members,

Something weird happened with my Note 8 today.

I make a call and put down my phone. After a while I noticed the screen was off.

The buttons were not responsive. I cant even pull the battery out.

Then I had to do a battery pull replication (i heard this from a YT video). This is done by holding volume down and power button for 10 seconds.

The phone restarts.

This never happened before the pie update.

Happened to anyone else?

Yeah, I too faced this issue once when I was trying to use Bixby Voice suggestions. Screen got freezed displaying complete black and couldn't get out of it. I didn't tried anything tricky it got back to normal after few minutes. Yes Pie version has some issues.

Yeah the first iterations are always buggy.. but this had me worried coz the phone was not responding to anything.. I hope the future updates make everything smooth

Ab phone chalu he... Bas force restart karna tha... volume down + power button hold for 10 seconds
