Attach file from onedrive within Email app

Unable to attach files from onedrive to email from the email app directly. It always displays a link.

you can only attach files directly from onedrive if you are using microsoft email services . Others will get the file link from microsoft cloud services

Thanks for reply. i understand. But this is really absurd why Onedrive and Samsung email app is not integrated. in fact now Samsung has stopped its cloud services and recommend onedrive.

samsung cloud is still there , it is all because most of the cloud services do not allow file direct transfer out of their own infrastructure

Not necessarily true. I can attach a file from Onedrive in Gmail and also Aquamail but not Samsung Email. Really silly given that Samsung is now more integrated with Onedrive

i have opted for Onedrive so now, o cannot use samsung cloud.

Samsung do uses link share option for that you have to enable it from your phone
