So today I had my XAT exam which I missed because I relied on my Note 9 to wake me up. I also realized the following :-
1. The auto-restart on my Note 9 is always scheduled for a Sunday 3.00AM
2. After it does auto-restart, Knox asks for the pattern immediately to boot the phone. However if the pattern isn't given, the phone will stay at that screen and would not boot and thus my alarm set at 6.00AM did not ring!
So finally I woke up as usual and realized it was 9.30AM and I have missed my XAT exam which comes once a year. I am not ranting about how this happened but I am suggesting Samsung towards how this could be fixed! If a phone restarts and Knox security screen blocks your way for the boot up too, isn't there a way that alarms can still ring? Otherwise the combination of these two features beats the purpose of using the alarm functionality on the phone. This is very disappointing.
