Yes u should use dark mode in amoled display smartphone and use dark wallpaper on homescreen and lock screen to save battery

Any mode is best according to your usage.
Dark mode saves battery and reduce strain on eyes that's all.
Well amoled display has no burn in issue particularly newer generation.

Yes, it safe to use. In fact dark mode works best( save battery) only in Amoled display.
