A question for Pie beta users

Has Samsung implemented the feature where in screen lights up upon receiving any notification? I know its kind of too much to ask from Samsung especially when there AOD out there but still this feature will be useful.

u can use d edge lighting

that's only for sms. what about WhatsApp, Instagram, FB and other notifications.

for me its working for calls, WhatsApp,Instagram and FB messenger and few other apps its quite good features for devices

Please post here your settings screenshot for the same. in my Note8, with AOD on, the edge screen never turns on with screen locked and AOD visible. however it does when the screen is on (If settings kept on always or when screen is on) but nothing works when the screen is off and AOD is there.

mine is note9 & I'm using OneUi so maybe due to that I'm able to use it
