usb c earphone stopped working suddenly on Samsung m40

Mu usbc earphone  that came with m40 suddenly stopped working.  It is showing Android system usb connected then disconnected...again and again. It was working today a few hours back but now it is not  working. Please  help. It is working on a51.

check if same earphones working on other phones.
If earphones working in other phones then go to settings search for usb-c headset app & usb settings app.
Clear the data of both the apps.

It will 110% work if issue in software.

fast usb charging is also not happening. but strangely I connected the data cable to my laptop and was able to charge the phone without starting the phone. my earphone is working on a50 usbc.
could you please tell me how to set the usbc headset and usb settings.

usb c headset app is forced stop.usb settings have cleared the cache and data....still not working

after doing clear data for usb settings and usb c headset apps....now when trying to connect earphone or fast charger...it is showing...usb device not supported.....please help. also usb c headset app is in forced stop state and not able to start it

Why you forced stop it?
I didn't said to make it force stop.

Now only one solution to make it enable is to reset your phone.

it was by mistake....reset means factory reset?

I have done factory reset. now USB c headset app is not forced stop. but still the problem is there that earphone and fast charger when connected shows usb device not supported device on m40.
please help what to do next.

after factory reset, I have not cleared the data for usb c headset app and for usb settings app. should I do now.as of now when connecting earphone or charger getting message usb device not supported. please help.
