some apps reading sms OTP without sms permission..is it okay

I've observed some apps reading sms otp without any permission. I've reset device also. Later same issue observed. Signal messenger and divya bhaskar app have read sms otp without any permission. Signal app screen recording shared. Please help

These App Can Read Through Notification were otp can be view, the apps are designed in the same way

it's fine because once you enter your phone number they take permission only to read the message sent by their apps so they auto verify the user

That is done by all apps that require mobile verification through OTP... that is automatically done due to Android API and not because of permissions.
