Bro In your case they just forgot security patch update but in J7 Max user case they forgot 9.0 Pie major update...
But don't worry bro you'll definitely receive security patch update very soon.

m30s latest security patch is of august, it will get security patch again after 3 months as it is on quarterly update schedule of Samsung.
