How much battery will drain in 15 minutes continues use in m31.?..(simple use not playing any game only Instagram  and whatsapp)

it is also depend, as insta is play video automatically that drain battery so its totally depends on ur settings
but at moderate use it can be 5-6% approximately

irony is Instagram is heavy battery draining app for android devices ( it is still unfixed by facebook team since 2019 )

yes but if u stop auto play video then its consumption can be less

no instagram is a heavy battery draining app . even you stop all those things it will drain your battery on stand by , this issue is bombarded in android suppprt forum since 2019 .. it was not yet resolved

even it was highlighted in international media ( the wire , BLOOMBERG etc )

Instagram and Facebook drains your battery even if you disable auto play etc because you can not disable location service of these app even you disable location permission.. these apps always uses location services with low frequency mechanism ..

so you need to perform some other task
like stop background activity
background data
and off all unnecessary notifications then observe

android OS low frequency mechanism for real time location detection is always on service when triggered by an app . so there is no trick to stop it from user end unless and untill developer of app modifiy the app
