Uncontrolled data usage when connected to WiFi

Whenever I connect to wifi it seems that something is going on in the background. I disabled auto update and auto download options wherever I see them. But some process by the name system seems to just download something which I cannot find what. Pls help. Today it has downloaded or uploaded about 1.5 GB!!!

System process has downloaded abt 1.5gb on M31s

I need a solution for this...

Plus it's constantly downloading at 2 Mbps, and hence browsing speed is also slow.

Yes it's not possible to provide you solution correctly without knowing your setting. it's a general method use to reduce internet usage.

Hotspot is not my concern bro. I download a lot in my laptop. I'm guessing my hotspot data to have reached more than 15gb bro. My problem is with Wifi data usage.

Android os means this date use in software update bro by wifi

Last update for my device was at 10th nov last year and no more updates since then. And I have disabled Download Updates over wifi option in settings also bro...
