Uncontrolled data usage when connected to WiFi

Whenever I connect to wifi it seems that something is going on in the background. I disabled auto update and auto download options wherever I see them. But some process by the name system seems to just download something which I cannot find what. Pls help. Today it has downloaded or uploaded about 1.5 GB!!!

System process has downloaded abt 1.5gb on M31s

I need a solution for this...

Seems that the Android OS is doing something in the background. Any solutions?

It's issue of Samsung. Samsung make data aggressive Mobile phones which takes too much data.
So just don't allow background data usage for maximum apps except few which is very important for you.
if you want to conserve more data then turn off auto sync and avoid galaxy store.

Yeah and there seems to be no way to stop it... Now Google wants to join that party. I cannot control Google also from not using data from wifi. I tried using Max VPN and enabled Ultra Data Saving mode. When I opened the Google app, it starts to always download something. Too bad experience with a Samsung phone and WiFi connection. Seems that I cannot use any wifi connection with internet on my device. Too bad...

It seems that Google also cannot be restricted in any way from using WiFi data...

just don't use ultra data saving mode after that if u just manually turned off background data because it will reverse your setting.

How to actually turn off background data? I turned it off in app info but it doesn't seem to come under control...

I am sure after that u are going to save more data. just if you are using WiFi then please turn off autoplay higher quality content because it is going to using use more data.
so u have to go through each app for check it.

Android OS process is also still using wifi data... At least all this is not there when I use the mobile data. I'll be using only mobile data till all of this gets solved...
