But still what i guess from your question

just long press on homescreen>click widgets>and now here you can select different types of widgets

You can also change few homescreen settings

settings>display>homescreen

Just long press on the empty area on the home screen then you will find settings and you can proceed. No need of video for this.

to edit home screen either pinch screen and get settings for widget adding grid setting notification panel pull down setting and adding themes
or either you goto display and go to Home screen and there also u can edit home screen settings if u use good lock the home up app will help in editing home screen
