Smasung Galaxy is an inferior phone to a local 9000 rs phone

I bought Smasung Galaxy M51 for almost 24,000 when it came in nearby shop. I used to believe Samsung makes some of best phones. Recently I realized Samsung is just a brand name that produces low quality phones and sales them for higher price.

Recently, I decided to get my room painted and the painter who came for work also had Jio network as I had. I never experienced more than 35 Mb speed on my phone, 20 Mb speed is what I experience during night times when congestion is low, in morning times I hardly get 10 to 15 Mb speed at best, sometimes it couldn't reach speed of 5 Mb.

Now comes the important part the painter who came for work told me he mostly gets speed of 50 Mb plus in morning and in night times speeds go above 70 Mb and had experienced highest speed above 150 Mb.

We did speed test side by side and my speed peaked at 9 Mb while his speed went above 50 Mb. I couldn't belive it, so we exchanged sim cards and again my sim delivered 50 Mb plus speed on his mobile., while his sim still couldn't break 10 Mb mark.

And then I realized Samsung Galaxy M51 used a garbage modem whose quality is even lower than a locally assembled brandless phone which costs less than half of it.

Lesson learned here is, never buy Samsung Phone, Samsung doesn't produce Smart Phones, it produces Dumb Phones that can not hold candle to even a locally assembled 9000 rs Smart Phones.

P.S : The painter's phone wasn't using 5G handset. And I am really angry at the fact a 9000 rs local 4G handset is almost 10 to 11 times better at delivering internet speed.

Samsung is going towards the same direction as Nokia.

That's because M51 doesn't support Carrier Aggregation which even 8k phones from Chinese companies support. Most 4g Samsung phones around and under 20k doesn't suport CA. However, this is changing now with the arrival of 5g phones.

Exactly, at that time they lauched several devices (m31, m31s, m51 etc) without CA, which is infact at that time, most other phone manufacturers had this feature on their cheap models.

Yup, this was a concern because nobody knew this thing. Only after lakhs of people bought these phones and faced slow internet did this became a known fact. Before that even so called reviewers didn't mention it. I think geekyranjit was among the first to publicize the CA thing in phones.

I don't think so, no one with 4g phone is getting CA updates. Most likely we are stuck with slow internet.

In m51 the network reception of this device can't be justified in any manner
