This used to be a feature and was removed by Samsung during an automated update roughly 5 years ago and was never reinstalled new model phones do not have this feature I have no idea why they would do this. It's odd that nobody seems to care based on the lack of information and interest online. "Google photos" still has this feature "Gallery - photo gallery, album" app from Google play does aswell however both apps do not function well with large libraries as the Samsung gallery is the mobile gallery imo this is all very frustrating and just feels like they want to phase out photography viewing infavor of videos for some reason it has been **bleep** me off for half a decade, thanks Samsung good job team
