It's frustrating when one SIM card stops working, especially when the other SIM (Jio) is functioning properly.

Possible Causes
1. *SIM Card Slot Issue*: The SIM card slot for the VI SIM might be faulty.
2. *SIM Card Detection Problem*: The phone's SIM card detection mechanism might be malfunctioning.
3. *Software Glitch*: A software bug or glitch could be preventing the VI SIM from working.
4. *Network Compatibility*: There might be a compatibility issue between the VI SIM and your Samsung M53's network settings.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Clean the SIM Card Slot*: Ensure the SIM card slot is clean and free of dust. Use a soft brush or a cotton swab to gently clean the slot.
2. *Swap SIM Cards*: Try swapping the SIM cards between slots to rule out any slot-specific issues.
3. *Check APN Settings*: Ensure the APN (Access Point Name) settings for the VI SIM are correct. You can check the APN settings by going to _Settings_ > _Connections_ > _Mobile networks_ > _Access Point Names_.
4. *Reset Network Settings*: Reset your phone's network settings to their default values. Go to _Settings_ > _General management_ > _Reset_ > _Reset network settings_.
5. *Check for Software Updates*: Ensure your phone is running the latest software. Go to _Settings_ > _Software update_ > _Download and install_.
6. *Perform a Factory Reset*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, perform a factory reset. This will erase all data, so be sure to back up your phone before doing so.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there's a hardware problem with your phone's SIM card slot or the VI SIM card itself. You may want to visit a Samsung service center or contact their support team for further assistance.

Are you on International Roaming? It happened with me.

Put faulty sim on another phone.
Go to settings-connections-mobile network-access point
Then select reset to default from 3dots menu.

Then open VI toolkit
Select reset all settings.

Then put sim in your old phone
