Scratches and replacing back panel of M series

Hello all,

i recently got a M51 on Dec and its not even a month and i have noticed heavy scratches on the back panel,FYI i was using a cover case the moment i brought the phone....

its really irritating to see money wasted on a device which cant even hold off minor dust particles and gets scratched

im planning on replacing the back panel of the device, the spare price listed on Support is 1200 INR, later im planning on putting a glass cover (front too). 

did you people faced anything like this? and will you advise changing the back panel? (from samsung service )

Dust particles aren't some easy material to handle bhai.
They are one if the hardest materials available to no phone is safe from their wreath.

Even the Gorilla Glass 5 can be scratched easily with dust particles.
Now you have two options, apply a skin on your phone or change the back panel.
Btw even if you change your back panel that won't be safe from scratches either unless u apply a skin or lamination on it.

probably some dust and small dusty pebbles scratching it. I've been cleaning off my back panel and case insides to avoid this

I also bought M31s and after a few days minor scratches came so I immediately gone a shop and applied a skin now it is safe from scratches.
But if your phone have major scratches then bubbles will come if you applied a skin so better change your back panel then apply skin.

Thank you everyone for your valuable time and advise, I went to service today and they advised me to change the panel after some time since it's new and it will be waste of money (I really appreciate the kind thoughts of service guy, he could have asked me to replace it but he didn't!)

He also advise to put a transparent readily available back panel vinyl and a silicone case over it, he suggested that after a year I should change the panel.

My views regarding samsung service has improved today and I'm happy.

But samsung should seriously consider giving quality build at 25k price point, because 25k ain't cheap considering indian market.

laminate back panel..so that scratches will be minimized in near future..

Same here.. Even after putting a cover from the first day still i got heavy scartches and marks on my phone
