After updating for security patch (November, 1) which also includes camera update, i met with flashlight bug.
Bug- After update, i took my b'day photos with flash and i must tell photos are not usable at all they are totally white and after that when i tried to turn on flash through notification panel, flash did not turned on. In video mode also flash is not turning on.
Please fix this issue soon.

is there any improvement in the camera performance? have they provided camera2api support in this update? if not then this update is useless as always

Exactly same here.I also posted threads regarding this. The 2 problem you mentioned is very true and I already reported as error report to Samsung team.

Even you will notice that you will not be able to turn on flash in video recording. These are serious bugs and need to be repaired urgently.

Neither restarting nor any third party flashlight app will solve this.
