Galaxy MRAM Plus is a virtual RAM expansion feature that allows your device to use a portion of the internal storage as additional RAM. This can potentially improve performance, especially when running multiple apps simultaneously.
*Pros of disabling RAM Plus:*
1. *Reduced storage usage*: RAM Plus allocates a portion of your internal storage for virtual RAM. Disabling it can free up storage space.
2. *Less wear on storage*: Using internal storage as virtual RAM can lead to increased wear and tear on the storage. Disabling RAM Plus might help prolong the lifespan of your storage.
3. *Potential performance improvement*: Some users have reported that disabling RAM Plus can actually improve performance, possibly due to reduced overhead from managing virtual RAM.
*Cons of disabling RAM Plus:*
1. *Potential performance decrease*: RAM Plus is designed to improve performance by providing additional virtual RAM. Disabling it might lead to decreased performance, especially when running multiple resource-intensive apps.
2. *Increased likelihood of app closures*: Without RAM Plus, your device might be more likely to close apps due to insufficient RAM, which can be inconvenient.
*Who should disable RAM Plus?*
1. *Users with ample RAM*: If your device has a sufficient amount of physical RAM (e.g., 8GB or more), you might not need RAM Plus.
2. *Users with storage constraints*: If you're running low on internal storage space, disabling RAM Plus can help free up space.
*Who should keep RAM Plus enabled?*
1. *Users with limited RAM*: If your device has limited physical RAM (e.g., 4GB or less), RAM Plus can help improve performance.
2. *Users who multitask heavily*: If you frequently run multiple resource-intensive apps simultaneously, RAM Plus can help provide additional virtual RAM to improve performance.
Ultimately, whether disabling RAM Plus is good or bad for you depends on your specific usage patterns, device specifications, and personal preferences. If you're unsure, you can try disabling RAM Plus and monitor your device's performance to see if it makes a noticeable difference.

Galaxy MDear Samsung member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your query, we want to inform you that you can use RAM Plus feature providing virtual memory on the Device care menu. the RAM Plus feature uses your phone’s storage space to provide virtual memory. Choosing more virtual memory is to allow more apps to stay open in the background. Choosing less virtual memory is to keep more storage space free. If you don't want to use the feature you can disable it.
Path: Settings > Device care > Memory > RAM Plus > select memory option to set.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
