Click on apps
Click on 3dots
Select reset app preferences
reboot your device.

Galaxy MAfter everything is fine try disabling each permission and check whether without that permission enabled is there any problem with this launcher ..
Like that try and keep only really necessary permission for that launcher..
Nova launcher is a good one
But It's good to use default samsung launcher ..
If u need themes and other check it out in theme store ..
