My Samsung M21 phone is asking for password after I restarted it. I haven't put any password ever.

Any solution ?

Have you use fingerprint lock or face unlock?

When you secure your device with pin/finger print or password, it will ask you to unlock with them as soon as you boot/reboot it. Its called secure startup.Nowadays companies ask employees to buy phones with feature.

If you have set up fingerprint that means you have setup Password or PIN too. Because when you setup Fingerprints phone asks you to use pattern or PIN first after that you can setup fingerprint. And due to security reasons you have to use PIN/PASSWORD/PATTERN after phone restart.

If you have turned on Find My phone and remote unlock using your Samsung account your can login with same Samsung account on PC and unlock your device from there.

Find My Mobile (FMM) is available for only those devices that have a Samsung account and has enabled “Remote Controls” in advance.
Note: Internet should be enabled in the device.
From POS, “Remote unlock” should also be enabled in advance.
Path: Settings > Biometrics and Security > Find My Mobile> Remote unlock

Please follow the below steps:

Step1: Go to Find My Mobile (FMM)https://findmymobile.samsung.com and tap on SIGN IN.
Step2: Log in FMM with a Samsung account.
Step3: Select the target device in the list and select "Unlock" on the right panel.
Step4: Tap on Unlock.
Caution: All of the screen lock information (Pattern, PIN, Password, and Biometrics) on the device will be deleted.
Step5: Enter the password for your Samsung account to confirm.
The Screen Lock will be unlocked and initialized automatically on the device.

My Samsung s21 fe after software update suddenly asking for Use password after restart n i have my password password but unable to unlock also try to unlock from Find My Mobile but UNLOCK option is not there also visited Samsung care they suggest me to factory reset I haven't backup what can I do pls help me?20240224_163815_1000030105_1708772898.jpg
