Please press 3 dots and accept solution. You will hurt his feelings otherwise.

Also, software updates are not perfect but it's highly recommended to update because of Security reasons.

I have a google Pixel, they provide monthly security updates but it won't affect the performance of that Device. But my samsung get updates every 3-4 months and it does affect the performance.
