Galaxy MSecondly network issues ain't that bad tbh, yes when there will be lots of user around using constant data then you are going to see weak network reception, same for low coverage areas.
Network connection and reception issues cannot be solved via software updates, its basically hardware based, all is inside a SoC.
So it's fruitless to knock Samsung's Official to improve network issues.
(I was using Letv le 1s and Letv Le max and tbh the le 1s had one of worst network as well as wifi reception and connection modes. In comparison to le 1s M30s is great)

Galaxy MAnd yes I agree that network reception can't be solved by a software update because in some cases faulty hardware is the underlying cause. And since she is the consumer, she has every right to knock on Samsung Officials to get her device replaced or at least fixed.

Galaxy MYou are right about it being a hardware issue. However, there can be minor improvements by tuning antenna via software tweaking. At least they should look into it if it's possible. She and many other are facing network issue and that's why they are seeing battery drain. It's not going to change.
To me, it looks more like hardware and, 'maybe' they are taking radiation controling more seriously ignoring our infrastructure and density. Hard to say it's good or bad. On one hand low radiation good but they are selling a communication device and no point if you cannot make calls, they must strike a balance between both.
I have noticed that newer phones receive lower power compared to older phones. Last week I monitored 4 phones for 10 minutes Jio LTE at the same time. Redmi 3, M30s, Mi A1 & OnePlus 6. Redmi 3 got the best signal (-89 to -98 dBm) meanwhile Mi A1 got the worst (-95 to -113 dBm). OP 6 was second last (-92 to -107 dBm) and M30s (similar range) was barely a bit better than that.

Galaxy M"Networks issue ain't that bad" - Good for you 👍and not the same case with the majority of other users
"Battery drain isn't seen in most M30s devices"
Seriously?, I don't how long have you been using this forum. The phone was officially launched via Amazon on 28 September and since that day you can, the countless number of people clamor about this issue on members as well as in Amazon reviews.
"fruitless to knock Samsung"- Jesus, i respect Samsung and I'm not doing this to tarnish their reputation. There is some severe flaw with their Exynos SOC and as a customer, i have every right to ask for best.
Maybe you are living in a fool's paradise.
