why don't you give Samsung internet a try? It has adblocker as well as translator too.

And for your problem try clearing cache and if didn't work then reset the Play store.

Basically this.

1. Clear cache.
If that doesn't work
2. Uninstall Play Store updates (Settings > Apps)
If it still doesn't work
3. Clear data... Reset

Go to settings》 Apps 》 Playstore 》storage 》 clear data. Repeat this for Download manager as well. Reboot your system and try again.
