Please be assured and to  resolve auto restart issue please follow below given steps:

>>>Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Turn off auto start.

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

Same problem is happening to me. 1 purchased my first m31 phone and returned it due to this problem  . Then again I replaced my phone and same problem happened.  It is getting off without any reason,  and shows only samsung name in display.  I reset my phone and again after 2 days same problem happened. What I need to do??

My phone completely blacks out and just shows Samsung for 10 min and again it restarts, It's not because of the Auto start button , that switch is off from the beginning I took this Galaxy M31 phone just 3 days back except from the first day I am facing this issue.
