M33 not waking up on lock screen while getting notifications

Hi,

I have been using Samsung Galaxy M33 for a while now. The main issue i am facing is that it does not wake up the screen while in locked state when any notification comes. I have checked the Brief pop up settings and look for show even when device is locked setting, but the setting is missing from device. Please suggest how to enable wake up screen on while on locked state if notification arrives.

M33 5g have tft display that's why the mentioned feature is missing in your device.

How i can wake up screen then when notification comes. It is the basic feature of any android phone. I need to double tap on screen to check what comes !

Hi Samsung Team,

I am using a Samsung M33 as well and facing the same issue. Why is such a basic feature like Screen Waking up upon Notification is not working. 

Moreover, if Samsung is aware of this issue why are you not working on fixing this issue with a Software Update. How can a phone which is priced for almost 20K does not have such a basic feature that a 10K Android phone provide. 

Absolutely disgusted with this purchase and this is how you lose a customer forever. Rest assured this will be my last Samsung mobile ever. I will also ensure that no acquaintance of mine ever gets my recommendation to buy a Samsung phone. Pathetic !

Hi,  me too having same issue.  It is very frustrating when you miss the basic simple function which even comes in 5k phone.  If you by any chance find solution without using the third party app please please please please please let me know too... Thanks...

they will never let you know for this samsung giving those feature before on android 8 after 9 it removes all such features and don't even listen to customers its a customized feature if anybody doesn't want wakeup screen feature it can deactivate in settings but they simply remove all such features and make phone dumb good for nothing for every notifications you need to go inside push the button to check the notification

I am also facing the same issue of screen not waking up or displaying Notifications when they come on my both Samsung M33 & Samsung M12 mobile phones. Looks Problem is on all Samsung Mobiles despite in Lock Screen & Notifications all Settings are on for display of Notifications on Loco Screen. Samsung Mobile Dealer & Service Centre asked me to do Factory Reset, but that has not resolved the problem.
