M31 error crashes solution

So my phone has come back and the reason was very shocking of course everyone knows it's a motherboard defect but the reason that happened is very shocking. So Samsung itself pushed and update that corrupted the motherboard and this was said by the repair shop owner but if this is true. Well then it's disappointing
