My M31 was broke because of the failed OTA update from Samsung, but after researching about if I finally restored my mobile, here are the procedure which i followed..

download Odin software. https://dl2018.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.14.4.zip

download M31 firmware : https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-m31/firmware/SM-M315F/INS/download/M315FXXU1ATB7/321291/   (approx 4 gb)

(I can also provide id pwd for fast download of firmware)

Extract files from firmware, you will get 5 files, AP, BL , CP, CSC and Home_CSC

(CSC for data loss and Home_CSC for no data loss)

open Odin and connect your phone with pc, it will show you message of Added in left column.

in right column, browse AP, BL , CP and Home_CSC.

Then click on start, it will show you message of PASS, if everything works good.

Mobile should be 50% charged.

For any help contact me. Thanks

Good Job. But what about user data? Is your phone in "out of factory" software and data or have you recovered all the phone data?

Also, which security patch have you reverted to?

USer data is also recovered, that is why we use Home_CSC instead of CSC file.

Only your phone software will be restore, it will not touch anything else.

Try following link. It worked for me.

Just Charge your phone for 30 min (if it is fully discharged).

Download ODIN software.

Install/Run it on your PC.

Download latest firmware.

Unzip the file. No need to put in specific folder.

Connect Phone via USB/Type-C cable to PC.

Follow instruction mentioned in 3rd Method.
