As per the instructions of my bank my software has to be upgraded to Android 12 before 28th February 2025 to continueto use their banking app. I couldn't do it from my side. I contacted Samsung support. They don't even know whether my device software can be upgraded. They keep on telling that I have to wait. Wait... till when ? No proper reply. Does anybody know whether my mobile can be upgraded to Android 12?
M30s was released with Android 9, and according to Samsung's policy at that time, it should have got 2 major software upgrades, Android 10 and 11. So, officially, there is no way possible that you could get Android 12. You'll have to buy a new device. Yes... you heard it right. Android 11 isn't much secure as compared to today's Android versions, which is Android 15. So, I suggest you buy a new phone. The best for you at this time would be M16 5G, which would get 6 years OS updates, and it's not that much costly. (Around 12K) And if your budget is high, then go for other high-end devices.
