Guys this is my 4yrs+ old Samsung M20 also my first Samsung device. In these 4 years never replace its battery. Now in Samsung members battery showing good backup is also good. Getting 7+ hrs sot in normal usage. Now the question is should I replace its battery because don't know whether it's available or not as it's very old.

You can see its SOT back in 2019 when I first got it. More average sot than current flagship S23 Ultra although M20 is a budget smartphone. Don't take me wrong S23 Ultra is a battery beast with 8gen 2 for Galaxy.

If you think that battery backup is less now, then definitely you can go for a battery replacement

No need to replace the battery as of now because the battery status is Normal. Once the battery status changes to Weak, please consider a new phone instead of a new battery, as you may not even find a replacement battery for a more than 4 years old phone.

Yeah. Using it as a backup phone.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that you can also check the battery status using the Samsung Members app, Battery Status (Battery life + Battery Capacity). if it shows bad or weak then you have to visit the service center, else it is showing normal there is no need to worry.

If the diagnosis result is poor, please visit the Samsung Service Center with the device for future assistance. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
