Location and gps on galaxy m30s

This phone is horrible in terms of gps and location. All the time inaccurate even in the open road. And inside cars, bus or train it simply does not work. When I checked the settings there is no such option like high accuracy mode or device only like all other phones have. The improve accuracy option is not what I am saying about. You can check with any devices you have. Do you have the same location menu or only I have this problem?

Well every smartphone running Android Pie in this world has this same menu, because Google removed the option to choose between high accuracy mode or battery saving mode in GPS from Android Pie.

no you are wrong.. check any device using miui or coloros.. I myself have one so I know that.. if you want I can give you a screenshot too

Well prove me wrong, but even I own a Mi device running on MIUI 11 and there's no such option in that device as well. If you have that option in your other device, I'm quite sure it's working on an older version of Android like Android Oreo.

And as I have mentioned Google removed it from Android Pie.

I don't know about Color os but Xiaomi ignored it with their android pie update but it's gone in the Android 10 based miui 11 on my K20 pro.

And like I said Google removed it from Android Pie so don't expect it to return back.

Enjoy it on your Note 7s while it's on Android 9 but if it were to get android 10 update be ready to say good bye to it too.

But I should mention this, starting from Android Pie when the setting "Improve Accuracy" is turned on its always on high accuracy mode and if you turn it off it will fall back to device only mode. So there's nothing to worry if you have enabled it, then it's by default on high accuracy mode.

And coming to your device, I'm also using an M30s and so far no issues with network or navigation or location. It could be your device issue too, get it checked at a nearby service centre.

Why don't you check and update in Google Maps. I have the exact location. I turned it . Try out AI will pick up that.

I have updated everything still the location is too much inaccurate.. specially when I'm driving or inside any vehicle or buildings it doesn't work..and even in open roads it's inaccurate by 40-50 mts approx

In Google Maps there location tuning is there. Go to maps turn on wifi then go to map press compass symbol then if it is not accurate then as shown in the screen shot rotate your phone till you get exact location. You can also locate your home manually also with this is not my place option.
