How to prevent Green Line. Prevention better than cure

Turn off auto update from system update option.

1. Turn off auto update over wifi in software update option. 

2. Turn on Developer mode by tapping 7 times on build number on About Phone. Then go to developer> find the option of auto update system and turn it off. 

This will prevent system update by mistake without your knowledge by any chance. You will be happy and safe in One Ui 5.1 because the Green line is permanent damage and happens only after system update after sometime. There is perhaps no solution from it other than prevention.

I clicked it and it started auto download and I paused. But there's no way to delete this notification. Anyone knows how to turn this off?

But I didn't update my S22 but still got the green line

Did u use a cover on the phone, which might have kept the heat unnoticed to you? Perhaps we need to use the phone without cover to feel the heat and stop using immediately when it heats

The numbers of the lines increased. Now I got total 5 lines. If I change my display, is there any chance these lines come on the new display too
