Galaxy M40 Tap and Pay

It has NFC support, but not Samsung Pay.. also if samsung pay is not supported, what other payment apps would be supported by this?

As in this image. No payment apps installed. But i couldn't find any compatible apps working with it.

Tried GPay and other major apps but none of them supported over here. Also Samsung Pay or Pay Mini not supported, then why is this panel for?

Samsung Pay and Pay Mini aren't supporting on your device due to the Galaxy M40 doesn't have Samsung Knox Security.
And NFC is not only for payment services.

agreed, and i know about it. my question is what is this tap and pay used for? what are some other alternatives

It's "One UI" and that's why It's showing on your device because your device has NFC feature but unable to payments due to inexistence of Samsung Knox Security.

I would disagree with you Shahid this is not the in display fingerprint effects. this is screen transitions ie. the animation while loading the homescreen from lockscreen 😶. get your basics right bro ✌

NFC works perfectly well Shahid. not bcuz of One UI, but it has a working NFC. my concern is not about it. its about Tap and Pay

I am using SBI card apps and doing nfc payments without any issue.
