Galaxy M33 after Android 13, one UI 5 update battery drain faster. The battery backup was a bit longer on Android 12, one UI 4.1. What happened to one UI 5, the battery discharge more than before.Samsung should revice their Kernel setting regrading battery discharge issue on the next One UI 5.1 update

Did you face notification panel hanging often?? My M33 5g updated in One UI5.0..facing this issue and little heat also ....one UI4.1 was totally fine .....hoping best in UI5.1 but it's not for us ...we'll direct get UI6.0 maybe

Well there's an app called forced LTE. If the 5G is continuously on then the drainage isn't that high. The drainage issue is mainly due to continuous switching between LTE/LTE+ and 5G.

Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:

Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Kindly turn off the smart features of the device and other connectivity features when not in use, which will eventually help you to reduce battery power consumption (smart features such as Motion gestures in advance feature and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, etc.).

Please follow the below steps:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Tap on Bluetooth, Location/GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, NFC, etc. to turn off.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Dear Samsung, 

Really we are facing this issue once updated the software. I am having Galaxy M33 5G. Earlier it used to last for 1 and Half Day after full charge. Now I am experiencing only 10-12 Hours of Battery Life in Normal Usage.

Please take these matters of Battery Issue seriously.

Hello, I have M33 which I have been happily using for last 2 years. No complaints at all. However there was a Samsung update on 6 June 2024 and over the last 4 days I see that the battery consumption has increased like hell. I am not even using it for 10 min and 10 percent decrease. I use it for office purpose and there is no change that I have done from usage perspective. Please help. It's killing my phone.
