Galaxy MThis still happens nowadays on my S21+.
When the Samsung Android operative system deletes them, they don't even go to the trash. They just go straight to oblivion.
I have a folder with mp3 files I listen to daily and listen to them with the VLC player and even put bookmarks using VLC.
Well, fortunately, I have all these files backed up in OneDrive, so I just download them once again, but I lose the bookmarks!!!
This is unacceptable and incoherent behavior by the operative system, which has more than 100 Gb of free space. So even the space-sparing argument would not fly.
