I'm using Samsung M30, the .thumbnails files were deleted from my DCIM folder. Most probably by using Ccleaner to clear up space.
Now the issue is, I can not see the correct thumbnails of the photos when I try to upload/Send them through Instagram or Whatsapp.
The thumbnail shows a different image, but actually it is a different image when selected.

.thumbnails folder is empty and no new thumbnail file is being generated.

Things I have done so far:

  1. Cleared Gallery Cache.
  2. Cleared the Cache Partition.
  3. Cleared Cache and Data of "Media Storage"
  4. Soft Reset my Device
  5. Deleted the .thumbnails folder and created a new one again.

None of the above methods has helped.
Please help for the same.
