Contacts getting deleted automatically

Few days ago I saw that some contacs are deleted from my phone. I navigated to contacts recycle bin. I found bunch of contacts in trash which i never deleted. Again after 2 days i opened recycle bin and found some more contacts deleted. 

My contacts are getting deleted on their own. Is there a software bug or what? Did anyone else have this issue.

Please check your contacts trash too.

i have the same issue aswell on S22 ultra . i can't believe this issue has been going on for years with no resolution 

it must be affecting lots of devices really . at first my contacts got deleted and i thought ohh must be a glitch or something and i always re created these contacts . but i think now it's happening more frequently that led me to trying to troubleshoot what is going on and i discovered that my contacts are in the trash claming that they were deleted from my phone , which never happened !!

Even my contacts are getting deleted..what to do pls help ..it is deleting contact in large volumes..around 500 contacts just now i recovered from recycle bin

Me too.  so infuriating!  over 600 contacts just deleted.  Thank goodness I store them in Google and there is a recover option.  @Samsung or @Google needs to investigate this or give us a way to track this better.

Every day more and more people are getting this bug on their phones, Even I have been facing this issue for 10 months now with no solution at all

some guy suggested that the Dual App feature is occurring the issue, if you disable it, the issue will go away, I haven't tried it yet I have 4 dual apps and all are very important to delete

Contacted Samsung helpline/Samsung Members too Still No Official solution yet, WHY SAMSUNG WHY?!?!?!?!?!

Currently, I own: Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 2018, Buds 2, Tab A7, Wireless Charger Duo, Samsung Guru Music 2

All my friends have Iphone I use it whenever I get the chance and even I am thinking to switch to iPhone now, I hate Apple and apple's restrictions my all friends know that, but I am getting tired of Samsung now, every now and then they are letting us down, Apple have many minus points against Samsung, but some very good points too, next year's S23 Ultra I will skip and go for iPhone, don't want to but I have to ☹️
