Hey there! Can any one say what is Broadcast channel in configure mobile hotspot ?

Auto means device will automatically select a channel according to speeds and signal. And, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 means manually selecting a channel to connect with other device. Like you do in television, different channels run on different frequencies set by broadcaster. Similarly, selecting those numbers means you (broadcaster of that hotspot) selecting a particular channel whereas, if you select auto, it will automatically select channnels according to it's convenience.

It is basically the frequency for your hotspot signal.There are two bands that you can configure:

1)2.4 GHz : Mostly all devices have receiver for this band, it is a bit slower,but a bigger range as compared to 5GHz

2)5GHz : Not all devices have receiver for this band, so your hotspot might not work with some laptop, or mobiles. It gives faster speeds, but a lesser range as compared to 2.4GHz

I have turned on hotspot and choose the broadcast channel 1. But all device getting connected with my hotspot.
Not only 1 connection it connects more than 1 connections
