Chrome not updating

Hello guys, 

I am facing an issue , 

Chrome browser and android web view are not getting updated from play store. 

It is showing an option to update, but when clicked on update, it doesn't update and ends. 

I am also not able to upload any pdf files to any website from the browsers. 

If anybody knows what to do, kindly help.

Okay try this. Goto Settings 》 Apps 》 Find Webview app in the list 》 Touch 3 dots on top right corner 》 Uninstall updates.

Clear data of this app too. And restart.

Do the same for Chrome.

After powering on Update this app from Play Store and your issue will be solved.

Clear data of play store and Sid bhai suggested.

Go to settings>apps>clear cache/data of playstore

Also clear cache/data of Android system webview

Clear cache/data of Chrome

Clear cache/data of Google

Clear cache of Gmail

Restart your device and then update Android system webview/chrome

Long press on on playstore icon >app info (ibutton) >storage >clear cache and data restart your device then try
