I cannot change the smsc number or message centre number in my galaxy m30.. It always shows update error. Even the code #*#*4636*#*# isn't working. I can receive text messages but cannot send them. Please help if anyone resolved this issue on their galaxy devices. I'm using airtel prepaid.

so remove sim cards and boot phone with out sim for a minute

now power off your phone and reinsert your sim card

Why do we have to wait for updates for these kind of small things.. Sending texts is generic task for every phone out there but samsung is just ruining our experience by not giving attention to these tiny details

message center number is default by your service provider
if you change the number you can't send SMS

mine was left blank.. so i called customer care and they gave me this no. +919897051914 but I'm not able to set this number as you can see above in screenshots..... here's a text i recived from airtel '' Dear Airtel Customer, to continue sending SMS from your mobile, please update +919897051914 as SMS Center number in your Handset settings ''
