Can't open pdf files after downloading

I THINK I FOUND THE SOLUTION ,the issue is probably occurring on dual app whatsapp , if so, then forward the pdf file from ur 2nd whatsapl to ur main WhatsApp and open there, it opened for me.

I am also facing the same problem with M51. I think this started after the update to Android 11.
There is one more thing, the mobile data on Jio sim is not working in Slot 1 for some specific apps. eg rbl bank, pay to, Amazon etc, but with YouTube, Gmail and browsing.

• Facing the same problem but discovered That it only happens in the dual messenger whats app, when using the main whats app no issues. And PDF  files open normally 
• From the main whats app it's working with all readers
• With 2nd whatsapp, it is not working with any if them.

Hi,

I found the solution, please read the following steps carefully:

1. Please take backup of both whatsapp app.

2. Uninstall both app from mobile.

3. Go for fresh installation from play store.

4. After Installation of Whatsapp Messenger open it and login with 2nd number which you were using in 2nd / dual app of whatsapp.

5. Restore the backup and check the pdf opening and photo clicking issue... it will be resolved.

6. After completing of the above process go to dual messenger setting and make whatsapp as dual app.

7. After installation of dual whatsapp, login with 1st number which you were using in main whatsapp earlier.

8. Restore the backup and check the pdf opening and photo clicking issue... it will be resolved.

Hope this will work as normal as i tried in my phone and it is working normal.

Hello, an easier fix is as follows-

1. Manually backup your dual whatsapp files or run a cloud backup from dual whatsapl files.

2. Go to settings > Apps > select dual whatsapp icon

3. click on clear data and clear cache

4. Close all apps and reopen dual whatsapp

5. It will ask for you to sign in again.

6. Restore data previously backed up

Issue is fixed. You don't need to completely uninstall or reinstall anything. I think the bug is in new data updated recently. It just needs clearing previous data and starting from scratch.
