Facing the same issue on my dual whatsapp. Can't open PDF files, can't take pictures via whatsapp camera, can't forward any kind of media and the dual whatsapp pictures doesn't appear on my gallery.

Samsung note 20 ultra on Android 11.

It's not a bug of Pdf reader. Adobe works well despite this error. The issue is with Google Chrome standard edition. I just installed Google Chrome beta version. It works 💪.  While downloading file, it even pop outs the query , where to save. Just Chrome beta with Adobe reader goes well.
