Callers are hearing their own voice on calls. This happened after the latest software update on the galaxy M31s.

After update i started get complaints from my callers telling me that their voice are echoing.

I connected with Samsung support to took a session and make some cleanup on some application, reset on network & at the end flashed my phone.

I had to even reset my router. But later i had to turn off WiFi calling and This is OK. Users had no issue,

But what is the fix now for WIFI calling causing echo.

I tested it in my M12 which got its November update. No issue for me. Is this happening all the time. Because this common sometimes in mobile networks. Did you try it on different WiFi network. Try both 2.5 Ghz and 5 Ghz see which is best for your environment.

yes, it can be related with software update.
As in my M30s after an update, I was facing the same issue, but Samsung released a new update within a month and fixed the issue.
Hope it get fixed in yours also.

I tried almost three different Wi-Fi network and all my friends reported the same that they are still hearing the Echo

As of now I have turned off Wi-Fi calling and that is being helpful in stopping echo but I would prefer Wi-Fi calling as it it has much better quality of calls I have tried 2.4 as well as for 5G networks on my Wi-Fi and it does not help it is the same on either of them

I hope Samsung releases patch which will fix this issue very soon

I am facing the  exact same issue after the software update on December 8th morning.

And unfortunately, due to poor network in my house wifi calling is very much required for me. 

Samsung team needs to hurry up and  send a patch at the earliest.
