Call Display hides on top of the screen, "Call display while using apps" set to Full Screen

Bought: August 2020

 

Issue: "Call Display while using apps" is set to Full Screen, I was checking messages on WhatsApp and got a call. I was not able to answer the call because WhatsApp continued to remain occupying the screen and the call display in a very thin line was stuck on top of the screen below the camera. I tapped on it to answer the call, but it did not respond.

 

Wonder how this could happen when I have already se the "Call Display while using apps" is set to full screen.

go to call app click 3 dot click go to settings after you see i round call display while using app just click chose pop up

now this opetion i show enble after u using third party app caller screnn not goes to full screnn

Bro, you did not understand my issue. I don't want it to pop up. When I am on a app and I receive a call, I want the Call App to overtake the current app and display the call in Full Screen. But sometimes this is not happening.

I will test the mobile for couple of more days. If the issue does not reoccur, then I will close this thread.

To resolve the issue kindly follow the given below steps:-


1. Check device in safe mode:- Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears >Press and hold the power off icon.
Exit safe mode: Hold the power button and select restart on the device.


2. Reset the device:- Settings >General Management > Tap on Reset.
Note: Before reset make sure to have back up of the data via Smart Switch Mobile App
(Install Smart Switch App > Open > Click on Memory Card Icon >Back Up option > Choose the data for Back up > Back Up).


If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.
