C type earphones not working with galaxy m40

I am using samsung c type earphones that came with the phone on galaxy m40 itself and everytime i connect it shows "charging connected device is USB" instead of playing songs....but the earphones are working fine with other phone...any suggestions ????

if you click on ' charging connected device ' what the next message/screen

this day c type earphone very few people using there is option need to change in setting
