From the day i purchased my m31s, ie. 12th of this month I have a problem with my 3.5mm jack
Whenever a tone or any music starts playing, there's a buzzing noise in background.
I never had this problem with same earphones in my old phone. Anybody with same problem???

Maybe the earphone you're using, its jack has been damaged or so.
Try to use some other earphone and Samsung's precisely.
If problem still persist then clean the headphone jack with a microfiber cloth or blow dry in cool air.

Still problem exists then visit the service center.

If it resolves your problem then don't forget to accept solution so as to help others too.

Thank you.

Try new Samsung Earphone and if problem still exists then visit Service Center because that's the last option left.

I even tried with 3 different earphones one of them is from Samsung

Then Service Center is the only option left.

@anuj1996 I previously used same earphones with my old device and now also i use same earphones with both devices, I don't have any problem with old phone.
and as i mentioned above this device is not old this is a brand new m31s, I got this device on 12th of August and i am facing this problem since then....
I just want to know any other m31s users have same problem just to confirm that is this a bug in this model or problem with my device...

Bro in my experience not every headphone jack is perfect, sometimes earphone gets perfectly fit or even tight and with time it adjusts in the device.
Now if you use the same earphone on different device, it'll create problem because it doesn't fits properly.

This majorly happens with earphones of different company and device of other.

What I'm suggesting is that you try to connect a new earphone to your new device.

If problem still persists then visit Service Center.

I think you may be a samsung promotor.

You are simply telling to go for service centre without any understanding.

Everybody have same problem. It must be a software issue.

Ya, no. Even if the service center can open up the device and fix it, it's not acceptable to get a "refurbished" phone instead of a new phone.
I got 2 replacements. So, I tried 3 new units in total, and they all have the defective audio jack. Plugging in earphones with mic into the audio jack, you will hear a faint buzzing or white noise anytime the device plays a sound (easy to test when typing an SMS, or playing any media at the lowest volume - one step above mute). This buzzing or white noise becomes much louder and easy to notice while you are charging the phone. Yes, I tested this with 4 earphones with mic and 2 headphones without mic, on this phone and another phone. They all make noise on this phone only. Headphones without mic make less noise, so you can notice it only when charging as well.
I'm very disappointed cause I really wanted this phone, and I like it aside from this defect. So I was really hoping that it wasn't affecting all units, but it is (at least all blue UAE version units sold on  Amazon.ae, manufactured in Vietnam). And I keep hoping Samsung will come out and acknowledge it, and announce that they have fixed the issue in upcoming batches, but after calling the Samsung service center, they say that they don't even know about this issue, which has to be a lie.
So I'm going to return this 3rd one for a refund and look for a different phone.
