Hii family
I have to buy a wireless Bluetooth headset , so want to make it clear whether my Samsung galaxy m31s will support #LDAC or #Aptx appropriately , so that I could purchase an appropriate headset choice.(LDAC and Aptx is mentioned in developer option but I want to clear whether it actually works or not for someone accesed it earlier)

Please refer to the screenshot last line on my S20 FE where it clearly mentions grey out means not supported by phone.Screenshot_20211120-125905_Settings.jpg

Is this setting is after connecting Bluetooth headset
Cuz it will not work without it.Also you should possess the compatible headsets which supports the given codec like Realme wireless 2 , oppo enco m31 , Boat 385v2(Aptx) etc

It should auto select the supported codec of the headset or you can manually select it in the developer mode.

I don't know how it will be in my m31s whether manually or automatically as I have not tried any LDAC supported headset in my M31s yet.
But In some other phones when you will connect the LDAC supported headset to phone
In the Bluetooth setting segment you will get LDAC on/off immediately after connecting Bluetooth

Like this as you can see for samsung m31 connected to Realme wireless 2
I don't how this happens whether this option is visible automatically or after selecting manually in developer setting. Don't know If we can select LDAC manually in developer after connecting to headsetScreenshot_20211120-134332_Samsung Members_320267_1637396034.jpg

There is a setting Bluetooth audio LDAC codec. If present phone supports it. It is gray but will become active once headset is connected. Don't know about aptX 1637397209359.jpg
