Block messages using Samsung messenger

I am using Samsung messenger as my default messaging app. I am unable to block junk messages permanently. Although there is a block messages and number option in the settings menu, I am only able to block phone numbers but not Spam messages. Lookslike this feature isn't enabled on the app or its a bug  Can you help me fix this issue?

Switch to sms organiser by microsoft and trust me u will get next level experience and also make sure to turn backup on

SMS organiser. Or Google messages. Or even Truecaller. Truecaller has the best filters but it's filled with bloatware. That said, I can no longer imagine using my phone without Truecaller.
